Laser Liposuction Equipment: Which Technique to Go?

Advertised at salons almost everywhere, you see the ads with beautiful air-brushed women wearing as little as possible and their image is simply the background for an advertisement about laser liposuction. What is that about? Is it different from regular liposuction? Could I get rid of that flab on my abdomen that seems to maintain despite frequent exercise? A series of thoughts flow particularly if liposuction is something you have either considered or might be interested in considering. We can take a look at the laser lipo machines on the market. The term Lipo alone surfaces the thought of surgical removal of body-fat.

We generally understand liposuction to be an invasive surgical procedure to scrape and vacuum out stored fat in the body. The most common thought arising in one's mind when they run across the term "laser lipo" would probably be, "how does that work?" Wouldn't it be great if we could just have unwanted flab zapped off? Actually, we are not far from doing just that.

Non-invasive, cold-laser lipo devices are becoming progressively more available in a growing market. Taking a look at what is offered will provide a more pragmatic perspective. Currently there are four brands in the market spotlight: Lumislim, Strawberry Lipo, Zerona, and I-lipo. Each of these devices function in the same manner and each have been proven effective. That's good news, right?

Take the Lumislim for example; this lipo treatment is similar to the other brands. There are up to four treatment pads that contain the laser diodes. These pads are placed on the areas of the body to be treated during that session. Next, two additional laser probes are placed at the lymph nodes closest to the area being treated. This is to facilitate lymphatic drainage of the released fat. The next step is to simply wait for the duration of the treatment which can last anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes. There is no pain Lipo Cavitation or odd sensation involved.

If all of these machines are similar, then which one should you choose to purchase for your beauty salon? Which one should you choose to use as a consumer visiting a beauty salon? For the individual consumer, try whatever you like and see which one suits your favor. For the entrepreneur, however, there are other elements to consider. It would be helpful for the business owner seeking to add a non-invasive laser lipo system to their beauty business to be informed of some of the basics of the four models available.

The Strawberry liposuction machine from laser lipo is a popular model. Press release has proposed the device to be effective not only for fat reduction but also useful for abolishing stretch marks and somehow to reduce bags under the eyes and aid smoking cessation. Like I stated, this is from a press release. I make no claims pertaining to the veracity of these claims. The procedure for use of the Strawberry lipo machine is the same as mentioned above. Treatment costs an average of 150 with a recommended course of 8 treatments. The retail cost of the system is 20,000.

Zerona is a "non-invasive body contouring procedure," in their words. A device exactly like the other cold-laser lipo machines mentioned above and follows the same procedure. Through a double-blind, randomized placebo-controlled study, (location unspecified) Zerona was summarily proven to be an effective cold-laser lipo machine that does indeed result in weight loss. Zerona retails for $79,000.

I-lipo gives itself a different explanation of effect, but the system is identical in operation as all systems mentioned. The idea is that a process called "photobiomodulation" is the effect of the cold-laser application and that this process alters the chemistry of the adipose cells and force them to express stored fatty acids which are then subsequently metabolized. The I-lipo retails at around 11,000.
